Hydrophobic perlite is a vitreous granular product obtained by special hydrophobic treatment of perlite with a certain particle size, preheated at an appropriate temperature, calcined and expanded at a high temperature. It is neutral, non-flammable, odorless, acid and alkali resistant, and has good chemical stability. Compared with ordinary hydrophobic products, it has good durability. Due to the high temperature and low pressure gasification coating method, the whole particle is completely hydrophobic, and even if the particle is broken, its hydrophobicity will not be changed. Strong hydrophobicity, safe to use. It is especially suitable for ultra-low temperature insulation fields such as LNG/LPG carriers and large cryogenic liquid storage tanks.
